Tabata or HITT on an indoor cycling machine

I've been performing HITT and Tabata for along time now and I've seen results, my six pack is almost there, I am 44, my weight is 145 but I am trying to get the six pack well defined, that's my goal, I was pushing hard at the beginning but now I slowed down a little bit, my question is if I do Tabata or HITT in the morning fasted, could I do my regular workout and some other type of cardio workout later in the evening, would this be bad or is ti okay? I am resting in between days.
