Tabata and Crossfit

Interesting. I've started hearing more of this and CrossFit lately. I'm curious why you wouldn't want to try and do something like 3 on, 1 off, combo when doing Tabata, but then I haven't tried it yet.

Probably end up trying this with my sprints this week though.

Can you be more specific about what you mean by 3 on and 1 off?

I can only speculate, but I believe he means workout 3 days straight and take the 4th day off.

3:1 ratio

He means you work to the ration of 3:1 so if thats 10seconds it will be:
3x 10 = 30s woring
1x 10 = 10s resting
