I have Resistance bands, and have seen videos using Tabata, but nothing is mention regarding frequency.

Fit 77 year old, paddle kayaks for miles, still work, look after a house and garden, and walk two greyhounds, sleep like a log, and have passed medicals with flying colours, but I know I have to work on the fitness. Have overweight and ill friends to remind me everyday that exercise is king.

Comments on doing say every other day, with the basic band movements.

Resistance bands
by: Anonymous

I am a fit 69 year old. I started Tabata workouts two weeks ago with resistance bands. I started slowly at 10 and 20, then 15 and 15 and am now doing 20 and 10. The bands take me all the way to exhaustion by the end of the 4 minute cycle. My primary method is to attach the bands to a door at chest height, then with my back to the door I use the bands in a punching motion as fast as I can move my arms.
I hope this helps.

Resistance Band Tabatas
by: Mike - Team NRG Fitness

I often use Tabatas with Resistance Bands on my bootcamps.
These are great for using the resistance bands held out in front of you and perform chest expansions for 20secs, 10 secs rest over 8 rds.

Can also use the bands and do same with Lat Pulldowns and Chest Pulldowns too.
