is this ok ?

OK, i just heard about this interval training thing from my friend so i decide to look it up, i know the basics n how to do everything but i was wondering if my workout routine is OK


WARMUP- 5mins
(8) sprint- 1min
(8) rest-2min
cooldown- 5mins

so i was wondering if that was ok

Looks fine to me.

Do this routine for about 4 to 8 weeks, then change your sprint time, either bring it down to 30 seconds and try and go harder, or move it up to 2 minutes and try keep the same pace you were doing for 1 min.
