by kay
(malaysia)

first of all i would like to thank the author for these wonderful method of training.

i,ve started the week 1 and 2 of HIIT n found it very easy and fun.

this question might be stupid but i really wanted to know if it is going to be dangerous if i keep up with HIIT for life but not quitting my smoking habit?

i'm 5' 4" asian male age 29 with 195lbs in weight.

i lost about 7lbs during my 2 weeks of HIIT n love it so much.

i smoke 1 box of 20 cigar daily.

please help.

smoking

Aside from HIIT, smoking is dangerous by itself. I know its incredibly tough to quit but it will be one of the very best things you can do for yourself.

As far as smoking and HIIT go together, there are plenty of people who do both safely.

They do opposite things to your body but if you have no severe underlying health problems its not going to be dangerous.

Intensity enuff ??
by: Lucas

Not trying to undermine your results in your weight-loss......congrats on that, btw. But if you find yr HIIT easy (and fun too), then probably your HIIT isnt intense enough, dude.

Most HIIT (if not all) wud leave one totally wasted and gasping for air. This is an indication that you had hit the right intensity rate or heart-rate range that wud ensure that u get the maximum benefit out of yr HIIT training. Perhaps you may wanna raise that intensity up abit in yr training to get even more of the benefits and improvements that you aim for.......just a suggestion. :D
