I have problems calculating my RMR

I found a RMR calculator on the net but I am not sure if I am calculating it correctly:

I am male,174cm,64kg,19years old it shows me my rmr is approximately 1700 cals but down below says that if I am moderately active(which is right since working on your program 3 times a week makes the difference)I must consume 2500 cals approx. So,should I consume 1700 or 2500?Should I include my training program?

Answer: RMR is an estimated calculation to try figure out how many calories you are burning through in a day. So the figure of 2500 represents the amount of calories you should need to stay exactly at the weight that you are.

You are probably trying to lose weight, so in order to do that you will need to consume less calories than 2500 but the key is how many less.

On a diet your body will reach a point where it thinks that there is no food available, its in a famine and it will slow your metabolism down to the point where you wont lose any weight. You don't want this to happen.

People have found that if you eat just above your resting metabolic rate (1700 for you) your metabolism stays up. So I would suggest you look at eating between 1800 and 1900 calories a day.
