I am very intrigued at this type of training, it sounds amazing. I am training in MMA and trying to get my fitness up. I have just started running but in all honesty I really dislike it. A friend of mine, also training MMA recommended I look up the Tabata system. If you can give me any more advice I would be highly grateful.

Highest regards, Sam

I use this method of training and I have my own course set up to complete it.

Firstly: This type of exercise can be done 3x/week just like 30s and 60s training.

Second: This method can be dangerous if you don't understand your physical limits (I know I have no comprehension of my own).

Find yourself a heavy stone/boulder. I live next to some moutains and a river so this wasn't hard. Also, you can look over a tutorial on how to create atlas balls.

The workout is simply explained... pick up the heaviest weight you can muster and with good form - run as fast as you can in 1 direction for 30 seconds. Than drop or let rest the stone for 10 seconds. Then attack again.

I use the word attack because thats how I view this exercise. It is an aggresive 30s attack with very little resting time.

Happy lifting.
