spot loss

You don't need to vary the program at all. It loses fat all over including your bottom and thighs.

You probably wont notice the loss in your bottom and thighs straight off but it will happen. The more you body gets tuned into burning fat, the more will come off from those areas.

Spot reduce
by: lucas

It is almost impossible to spot reduce. Those unsightly bulges that u wanna get rid fm yr body will be automatically reduced or disappear only if you are able to lose body fat generally. Therefore to get rid of fats from any part of yr body, first and foremost you will have to lose weight , ie. burn off more body fats. HIIT is the fastest and most efficient way of exercise to achieve weight-loss in a steady and progressively manner. It truly turns you body into a fats-burning machine (provided you perform it properly of coz).

When the energy in the muscles (glycogen level) is depleted during a HIIT session due to the intenisty of the exercise, these energy needs to be replaced by the body. It is during this "replenishment" of the lost energy, which can takes up to 48hrs, that your body is furiously looking around for sources to convert to energy.......and of coz the other source of ready energy in one's body (besides the glycogen state), is the stored fats that one has accumulated over time. In yr case, that would be in the area of the bottom and thigh.

When the body converts this stored fats (energy)to replaced those lost in the muscles during intense HIIT workout, this is what we generally call fats burning......and naturally you will lost fats in those area that has the highest source of energy for the body to convert.

Im 5'11 and weighed 88kgs abt 1 over month back. Have been doing the treadmills and weights lifting since the beginning of the the year, but just couldnt seems to make any headway in my weight loss and those unsightly bulges in my love-handles and my double chins. But after incorporating HIIT in my gym workout out for slightly more than a mth......hallelujah !!.....I am 81 kgs now.....with almost no love-handles and a clean clear-cut chin and jawline.....bye bye double-chins !!!!

A converted HIIT true believer.
