So what is this workout about?
If you have being trying to lose fat spending time on the treadmill or doing steady state cardio, you can consider this the water pistol of weight loss. A lot of people still believe that the best way how to lose your belly fat is to do abdominal exercises. Nothing could be further from the truth.
There is a type of workout that will lose fat faster than anything.
Welcome to the Lose Belly Fat Fast Interval Training routine
This is a routine designed for people just beginning interval training. The first few weeks are designed to get your body used to the workout.
If you are already in good shape and just looking to burn off the last few inches then by all means start with week 8's workout. However this workout assumes you are not fit and each week is designed to build on itself so that by the end of 8 weeks you are doing a fully fledged HIIT routine.
Each weeks will include the interval training workout including articles on interval training, nutrition and motivation.
Can I do this everyday?
A common mistake people make is trying to do the Lose Belly Fat interval workout too often. This program works with how much intensity you put into each workout. So rest becomes vital. This rest is vital for putting in your maximum effort into each repetition. For this reason only do this workout three times a week.
You can supplement this workout with weight training on alternate days; just ensure you are resting enough to give this workout your all.
Before we start the Lose Belly Fat Interval workout: If you are new to Interval Training, unfit or have any medical conditions please read through the interval training for beginners guide before starting on this workout.
Week 1 of the program starts out with the first interval training routine. Please note that in this beginning stage to exercise at your own limits and ease into the intensity.
Week 2 of the program starts cutting down the rest time of the interval training. On the nutrition side you will start looking at cutting out the sugar in your diet.
Week 3 cuts down your recovery time to 30 seconds. On the nutrition side you start looking at the thermic effect of food and how you can adapt your metabolism by what you eat and when you eat.
Week 4 begins adding more intervals into the routine. On the nutrition side you will look at the role of fat in your diet and how it is essential to have fat in order to lose weight.
Week 5 adds more intervals onto the workout and also adds resistance training as an option to accelrate your fat loss. On the nutrition side you have a look at the role fiber can play in slowing down the release of sugar into your blood stream.
Week 6 increases the number of intervals you will be doing as well as gives you alternative options to resistance training such as bodyweight training and ketllebell training.
At the penultimate week of this workout, you will raise the intervals once again. At this point you are concentrating on refining your training to get the most from it.
This is the last week of the lose belly fat interval workout.At the end of this your should have lost a substantial amount of your belly fat as well as being fitter and healthier. This week looks at where to go from here.
